“I’m super happy with this curation and the line up I put together for C12. I really wanted to invite only artists who deeply inspire me and who are, above all, incredibly talented producers with a strong and singular identity.

For the warm up I invited Carmelo Ponente, who for me is honestly one of the best producers in Brussels and deserves much more recognition. He released on labels such as Newrhythmic, Loopaina, Illegal Alien and many others, always with this very immersive approach to techno made of hypnotic textures, abrasive pulses and deep atmospheres. I’m really curious and excited to see what kind of journey he will prepare for the opening of the night.

For the second slot I’m super happy to bring a live set to the night : Downside & Initial Code. They’re both friends from Brussels, both sound engineers at Fuse and two amazing producers. Downside is definitely one of the strongest producers in the city right now and just released a crazy EP on the Fuse label. Initial Code is also my partner in crime for many b2bs and the owner of Indepth label. Their performance is entirely built around original productions, with a very shared approach to sound design, technology and experimentation, with a crazy set up. I sadly missed it the first time they played it so I’m extremely excited to finally bring it at C12.

A guest from Germany and Berghain resident, Isabel Soto, who just released on Ostgut Ton, also joins us this time. I’m very happy to invite such a talented woman and artist who inspires me a lot. I’ve been playing her productions for a long time already and I absolutely love her elegant and hypnotic sound. I’m also really excited because it will be the first time I see her play. Her latest EP with Elisa Batti on her own label Segment Records is adorable!

I’ll close the night myself, continuing the energy built throughout the evening but probably taking it into something even more immersive, mental and hypnotic. I want the closing to feel intense and deeply emotional at the same time to finally make everyone fully connect to the music.” – Clara D
