Axel Nalesso also known as EXAL sound has been shaped and inspired by enigmatic artists such as Ancient Methods, Regis, Surgeon and many more talented musicians he has witnessed along the road. His awareness of genres such as New wave, Post punk, Synth Wave, Noise, Industrial as well as Experimental and his willingness to learn and observe has resulted in his very own style of techno.

As a DJ he has been resident of the well known Blocaus Party’s in Paris for 5 years before he joined forces with the infamous C12 Club in Brussels where he has been active since 2018.

In terms of production EXAL has had two releases a 12” in 2015 and 12” in 2017 which feature remixes from the likes of Inigo Kennedy, Hector Oaks, Setaoc Mass and Dyad as well as a two track V/A in 2019 and one track on a 12” on the Prodigal Son Imprint. In 2020, he is releasing a track on a VA Tape for Champ Libre Records.
