Born in the suburbs of Paris and now based in Berlin, Quelza has developed a body of work defined by precision and intent, free from categorisation. His path hasn’t followed scene momentum or passing waves. It unfolds according to its own internal logic — a steady refinement of sound, structure and space.

Releases on Dekmantel and Ostgut Ton trace that evolution clearly. Each record carefully engineered: futuristic, grounded, detailed without excess. Tension builds patiently. Rhythms shift and reconfigure. Atmospheres stretch and contract. There is clarity in his music, but never repetition — the framework is solid, the direction always moving forward. Behind the decks, Quelza’s sets don’t rely on genre markers or obvious peaks. He works with pacing, contrast and control — moving between pressure and restraint, density and openness. Rather than chasing reaction, he shapes progression. A regular at institutions such as Berghain, Basement, Fabric and beyond – which reflects something earned over time: trust in his vision and in his ability to hold a room without shortcuts. Quelza’s approach resists short term payoff. The emphasis is on continuity, developing a trajectory that grows with intention over time.

DJ Nobu is an exceptional DJ who doesn’t limit himself to one style but draws from a wide range of musical worlds to create a unique sound space that only he can create. For those who know his DJing, he is more than just a DJ and is recognized as a cult figure. His 20-odd years of experience are expressed in his trusted parties at Future Terror, label Bitta, and several recordings and mixes, connecting him to a dedicated fan base. Over the course of his long career, his music has continued to evolve, earning him a reputation as one of the world’s most promising selectors, both flexible and ever-evolving.

Many artists find comfort staking their claim to a scene or genre, but leaving specifics behind and embracing the grey areas between strands of electronic music has helped Emily Jeanne emerge as one of the shining lights of dance music’s new guard. In fact, it’s those grey areas that Jeanne has always felt comfortable in. Historically a refuge for outliers in search of the esoteric, in 2024 dance music finds itself at a crossroads where maintaining a sense of the individual is harder than ever. Emily’s authentic approach to production and Djing, that pits broken beats in amongst more direct, dance floor material, IDM and Ambient derivatives can be seen as a direct reflection of the artist’s ever-shifting interior – and her comfort with a plural and undefined personal identity. Indeed, Jeanne’s commitment to the craft itself has become her calling card. Allowing the process of experimentation to bleed into her club performances in terms of rhythm and tone – but maintaining a razor-sharp eye on quality control, Emily Jeanne weaves unique but cohesive sets as a DJ and delivers exhilarating exploits as a producer.
