Internship offer: Graphic Designer
Starting Date: Starting May 2021
Duration: 3 to 6 months
The C12 is a cultural center located in the Horta Gallery, under the Central Station. Its activities include but are not limited to clubbing, art exhibitions, performances, plays and even dance performances
Your Mission: You’ll be working side by side with the C12 management and communication officer and you will be helping to develop the visual identity (B2B and B2C).
Required skills:
- A good level of general knowledge of the current trends in design and graphics.
- You will also have to master the tools of Adobe suite: Indesign, Photoshop and Adobe Video Premiere along with Mailchimp or other similar applications.
- Advanced knowledge of the Belgian, European and international electronic scene.
- A desire to learn
Example of potential tasks
- The creation of a visual identity
- Creating visual content for Instagram, Facebook, Resident Advisor as well as the C12 website
- Designing Mails & Mailchimp newsletters
- Design layouts for different dossiers (subsidies, presentation, sponsorship, etc.)
Your Profile: Proactive, enthusiastic, independent, curious and a quick learner
Benefits: You will be able to evolve within a young and dynamic team. The flexible structure of the company will allow you to get an insight on all the different operations of the non-profit organization. You will have a great deal of independence when it comes to organising your daily tasks.
Working Hours: The working hours will be adaptable according to the workload but a minimum of 20 hours per week will be required. The presence at the C12 office is also adaptable according to the type of work required and/or the Covid regulations.
Compensation: this is an unpaid internship. Lunch costs during an office presence will be covered by C12. The intern will benefit from invitations to all cultural events related to C12 and its partners.

Internship offer: Booking agency staff

Duration: 3 to 6 months
The C12 is a cultural center located in the Horta Gallery, under the Central Station. Its activities include but are not limited to clubbing, art exhibitions, performances, plays and even dance performances. In 2020, the C12 began to develop a new activity: an artist agency which aims to help artists from our scene to develop their careers thanks to the resources and networks of the C12.
Your Mission: You will be working side by side with the 3 managers of the C12 Agency and you will be responsible for prospecting new dates for the twenty artists represented by the structure as well as the logistical and financial monitoring of each booking. You will also be in charge of the communication of the Agency ( Keeping the homepage updates, preparing posts for social media, etc…)
Required skills:
- The position requires a good level of French, English and ideally Dutch with good writing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the Belgian, European and international electronic scene (clubs, festivals, collectives & promoters).
- You should also have previous experiences with the following tools: the office pack (Word, Excel…), Facebook, Indesign, Photoshop and Adobe Video Premiere as well as Mailchimp or other similar applications.
Example of potential tasks:
- Design appropriate emails and newsletters
- Manage the C12 Agency Mailbox
- Prepare the contracts for each gig
- Prepare the invoices for each gig
- To accompany the artists on some of their gigs
- Create Facebook / Instagram content and manage it
- Help with the drafting of different dossiers (subsidies, presentation, sponsorship, etc.)
- Update the Agency webpage
- Keep the C12 Discogs updated
- Have an eye on the artist’s content and make sure it is up to date (Bandcamp, Discogs, Facebook etc.)
- Manage the communication between the photographers and the graphic designer
- Develop the contact database
- Support the artists with the professionalization of their structures
